Entrepreneur of the Year categories


Young entrepreneurs supported by the YBI Network can enter one of four categories:

Female Entrepreneur Award: will be awarded to a successful female entrepreneur, who is running a thriving business and also providing inspiration to other women in her chosen field.

Environmentally Sustainable Business Award: will go to the entrepreneur addressing issues of environmental concern through their core business, evidenced through recycling, environment friendly products, energy efficient products etc.

 Innovation Award:  will go to an entrepreneur running a successful business who can best demonstrate a proven ability to invent, utilise and develop processes, innovations, methodologies, ideas or technologies that have significantly improved the performance of their business

Philip Ross & Martin Izod from ScotlandPhiliprossis, Last Year's winner

 

  

Journey to Enterprise Award: will go to the entrepreneur who has overcome significant obstacles to reach their goal of running a successful business. Evidence of having succeeded against the odds may be shown through overcoming disability, socio-political issues, imprisonment or illness.
