Georgi Dichev:
Future Media, Bulgaria

Supported by: Youth Business Bulgaria

Georgi Dichev is helping to create the technology of the future through his cutting-edge IT company, Future Media, which provides innovative services for businesses by combining web and 3D technology.

At just 20 Georgi won a Youth Business Bulgaria competition which provided him with the funds to set up the company, and since then Future Media has gone from strength to strength and is now leading the way in its specialised sector.

Future Media Limited has six employees aged 20 to 25. The employees in the company do not work fixed hours, the only requirement is that they finish the task given to them on time and that the work is of good quality. Bonuses are often provided for outstanding work or overtime

Still only 23, Georgi and his staff have established a successful business and undertaken many projects to date, working both on their own ventures and those for other companies. In a growing and competitive market, the team is oriented towards innovative services that will have few competitors. He has several unique ideas for new products.

Buoyed by his own success, Georgi is now keen to share his experiences and inspire others, organising forums and initiatives and offering free technological support to young entrepreneurs.

Georgi and his company help with the organisation of “Start UP” – an annual entrepreneurship forum by developing their website and all additional IT work pro bono. He has also shared his experiences by lecturing at “Start UP” and other entrepreneurial events and is now ready to serve as a mentor for Youth Business Bulgaria himself.
