“Deciding to become an entrepreneur is a major life decision”

When you get a business idea and need some support, when you get a mentor and start your business, when you have a positive impact on your community and feel you have found your life purpose – that is what Asiya Mohammed’s story is all about.

Asiya Mohammed is a young entrepreneur who received support from YBI member in Trinidad and Tobago, YBTT, to start her business: Conflict Women Limited. Asiya works with survivors of domestic and sexual violence, helping them to provide for themselves by creating and trading handmade jewelry.

The support from Youth Business Trinidad and Tobago (YBTT) came under the partnership with BG Trinidad and Tobago, a subsidiary of the Royal Dutch Shell.
