Enda Inter-Arabe was initially founded in 1990 by Essma Ben Hamida and Michael Philip Cracknell, as an international not-for-profit organisation. In 1995, it introduced best-practice micro-finance to Tunisia. In late 2015, Enda decided to set up a micro-finance company “Enda tamweel” to handle its financial services.
Today, Enda Inter-Arabe offers a wide range of non-financial services, mostly designed to move micro-entrepreneurs from a business idea to a profit-generating business. They enable thousands of young entrepreneurs to strengthen their entrepreneurial capabilities and business acumen and to gain in autonomy, skills and self-esteem, and, thus, increase their chances of success.
