About Youth Business Spain

Youth Business Spain (YBS) is a private, independent, not-for-profit foundation that supports young entrepreneurs to start, consolidate and grow their self-employment projects, as a quality alternative to unemployment.

YBS is a network of 11 well-established local delivery partners (NGOs) in 12 Spanish regions that join resources and efforts to provide training, access to finance and mentoring to young entrepreneurs, especially to underserved young people. It promotes cooperation between local delivery partners, private companies, public administrations and volunteers through knowledge sharing, best practices exchange, national partnerships, funding opportunities and technology.

Their mission is to create a community of practice that offers self-employment opportunities to the youth, especially to underserved, offering them the necessary resources to develop their entrepreneurial and professional initiatives. Youth Business Spain's vision is that youth self-employment is recognised as a fundamental factor in the business creation strategy and all youth can develop their soft-skills and their entrepreneurial and professional initiatives.
