Hatch Enterprise joins YBI Network as new UK member

Today, the YBI Network is excited to welcome UK-based entrepreneurship incubator Hatch Enterprise as our newest member organisation.

Hatch Enterprise has been running since 2014 to support entrepreneurs from diverse and underrepresented communities to grow smart ideas into successful, profitable, and sustainable businesses that have a positive impact on their communities.

Hatch first began working with YBI in May 2020 as our UK delivery partner of the Google.org funded Rapid Response and Recovery programme. Through the unprecedented economic shock of the COVID-19 crisis, the global programme is supporting over 200,000 underserved micro, small and medium-sized businesses in 32 countries.

Hatch deliver Launchpad, Incubator and Accelerator programmes to assist entrepreneurs to navigate the differing challenges that arise at each stage of the entrepreneurship journey. They also run separate, targeted cohorts specifically for women through their Female Founders programme and social entrepreneurs through their Impact programme.

To date, Hatch has supported 5000+ entrepreneurs with plans to reach 30,000 by 2025 as a result of continued expansion and increasing demand for its services. YBI is positive that through its formal membership to the Network, Hatch will gain not only the technical expertise, but the peer support and guidance needed to meet this goal.

Hatch and YBI share the same values and vision for the future, in which every young entrepreneur is empowered to shape a better future for themselves and their communities. We look forward to working closely together.
