Innovation is not only critical for first-time entrepreneurs that are looking to develop their ideas and pursue business opportunities but to entrepreneurs that have already established a business and are looking to scale and/or address issues and challenges that they are facing. We have all experienced how the Covid-19 pandemic forced businesses to have to adapt in order to survive. It also presented new challenges and opportunities for first-time entrepreneurs to start a new business in an environment where customer needs have significantly changed and/or shifted.
One of the challenges surrounding innovation is that it means different things to different people. Young entrepreneurs tend to think of innovation as creating something totally new from scratch, in particular a product or service. They tend to think it is something technology-related and big and breakthrough e.g., blockchain, online, and very technical. They also tend to think that the ability to innovate is something that you are born with and not a skill and capability that you can develop. To support entrepreneurs to be more innovative, Youth Business International has created the Entrepreneur Innovation Support (EIS) Training.
It is free online training aimed at promoting and improving an entrepreneur’s ability to innovate. Trainers, facilitators, and mentors all have a direct impact on the establishment and growth of a young entrepreneur’s business. It is important to improve their ability to innovate so that they can achieve their important business goals. In this training, we will share tools that you can apply to a business idea or an existing business in order to innovate to help a business grow and expand, be more efficient to save money and time, stay relevant, and differentiate and stand out from others.
Improve your ability and confidence to apply innovation to support an entrepreneur to be more innovative with their business or business idea.
