Argidius aims to help entrepreneurs to build profitable businesses and contribute to the sustainable development of their communities. They do so by improving the effectiveness and reach of small and medium enterprise capacity development services.
The three-year High Flyers Youth Entrepreneurship Programme, supported by the Argidius Foundation and the Government of Uganda, and delivered by our members Enterprise Uganda and Cordaid Uganda, aimed to help underserved young people in Uganda to scale sustainable businesses, creating jobs and strenghtening local communities.
The programme has supported 1,470 young entrepreneurs with over 400 assigned mentors, helped 176 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) mobilize finance in 2021, and enabled participating MSMEs to generate 16% average year-on-year growth in revenue.
The Argidius Foundation also funded our annual Africa Community of Practice, bringing together our African members to share practical ideas to build stronger, more sustainable organisations.
